cut out all extras.
no cable,internet,cell phone.

no soda or bottled water,no liquor or ciggies.

no eating out,plan all of your meals in advance, shop with a list & stick to it.

turn your heater back 3 degrees.

take your meals to work/school.

basically,go to work,home,occ. grocery trip.

Job = Money.

a way that works for me is when l buy groceries, eat out etc. save the leftover change in a piggybank/jar or try filling a gallon of milk carton, it usually adds us to 500 if filled. although it would probably be hard to save that in two months :[

just save a little money each day & only buy the things that u really need. try making ur own lunch; stop buying candy (oh wait, its almost halloween ;])

look under ur car, sofa etc. for spare change. you'd probably find anywhere between a penny-a dollar. lol

have a goal and have a budget.

Sit down and figure out how much money net you have coming in
during the month.
Deduct any fixed bills you have like rent, utilities, cable, etc.
Deduct how much you need to purchase gas for your car.

The rest is your discretionary money and you can deduct half
of your goal to put into savings and live of the rest of it.
