l inherited a ghetto house in Detroit its appraised at like 30K and it is in a pretty crappy neighborhood. l do not live in Detroit l like in Kansas City, but was wondering if l could take a loan of my house, there is no money owed on it at all nor taxes. The catch is my credit score is a little low like 550because of some medical bills and a cable bill is it possible?

Sell the house.
You will be hit with big city property taxes. You will maybe be hit by a home insurance premium, or flood insurance.
Not to mention, if u do not cut the grass for months the city will & send u the bill. Cut off all the utilities; bums may move in.
Another option, rent the house. Use a realtor, they will advertise it for you. Chances r the people living it wo not pay rent, but u never know.

Also, l wonder how many back taxes r due on that house, & if there r any liens on it. PLEASE sell it as is.
If u have time, paint it inside & out & plant a tree in the front. It will be worth it.

l sold a house 2,000 miles away. l used a realtor & paid them 5% of selling price. They can charge up to 6% by law. l made sure there was a similar named realty in my state (century 21). l went to my local office to have all the final papers signed.
