I am not sure what it needs to ask exactly. My neighbor wants to buy part of my property and the banks that hold my first and second mortgage need a letter giving the reason why......uh...money. Also, if there is anyone that is familiar with this type of situation, will my banks take the money that my neighbor paid for it? l really wanna use that money to put back into my house and pay off my credit card debt. On what basis would they take it? I am current on my mortgage.

There wo not be a bank in the country who will allow you to sell part of your house without paying off the mortgages first.

The bank owns the property until it is paid in full.

In the event of default, the first mortgage has priority, then the second, and then if someone is nuts to issue such a paper, a 3rd mortgage (the neighbor)?
