Here is the situation:l have been offered a permanent position within the company l work for, but in a different city.The salary is lower than l make now, and the cost of living is much higher than the city l live in.Housing alone is over a 200% increase.
How do l negotiate the salary with HR?l would like to take the new position, but only if the pay slightly exceeds what l am making now.

Absolutely! You need to be prepared with solid strategy, & a total back up plan.

1) know ur value
2) do ur market research
3) prepare yourself for handling objections
4) learn ahead of time, & prepare a solid plan to ensure ur negotiation goes well.
Why wait? Prepare now for an excellent future. Forget the negative stats. Do not accept a job that does not allow u the lifestyle u need based on ur region & job title.
