l just bought a new carand got it financed. l paid a few payments. And then l lost my job. Now l can not afford it. What the best thing l can do?

Return the car. If you default on payments or even attempt to get them reduced this will affect your future credit rating. Return the car, get what you can for it and hopefully you will cover what you owe.

Hurry and get two new jobs. You are responsible for that debt.

find a temporary job that is easy to get while you look for new job that pays alot..

or you can just join the army.. l payed my 27k car in less than 2 years by doing that.. but l was going to join for college anyways. haha

Call the creditor and tell them you cannot keep the car. You can turn the car in but you will still owe and this will go on your credit report. But at least they did not repo the car.

Ok, talk to ur bank, see if they will give u a few months reprieve. If u do not have a job by then. You're going to have to sell the car to pay off the loan. You will have to take public transportation or something until u have job.

This time be conservative & buy the used car that gets good gas mileage & goes from A to B without breaking down.

Do not use ur credit cards to pay ur monthly car loans. Maybe u can get some friends to help you, until u find a job.
