enough to make my bills for a year if l lose my job

A lot less than l did a few weeks ago now that many of my stocks and mutual funds have crashed. But l still have quite a bit and am thinking of putting more of my cash into stocks.

That is a very personal question to which most people would say, ''it is none of your business''.

Enough to make it for 6 to 8 months if l get laid off.
In other words just enough to find another job in time.

l am working on increasing my emergency cash to the
1 year limit. It let is me sleep alot better at night.

Enough to buy a 3 year-old Corvette if l had to in an emergency! l noticed some saying their ''savings'' are in mutual funds/stocks; are we counting investments as savings? To me, they are different.
