l also contributed to Social Security for 15 years. Now, the people at the retirement place tell me that l can not draw retirement benefits from both of them. l have to use one or the other. If l choose to use both, one account will pay me less than if l used one account. They call this, ''double dipping''. l call it a rip off. l paid into both accounts and it would make for a really nice monthly retirement check if l could use both. Why can not l use both accounts when l am notdipping into either accounts twice? Also, what happens to the money l do not get from one account or the other that l paid into?

it is just one of those unfair laws that is on the books -- you need to contact your congressman and tell him to enact a law to get it changed!!!

l have the same problem. l worked for the federal govt and will get none of the money l paid during that time. l will choose the regular SSI.
That is the rule for SSI, you can not get both..
